She studied art in the St. Petersburg Academy of Art, the Art-Industrial College, and graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Culture in 1992. While in Russia; she was a successful artist, selling her works to locals and tourists alike. She continued her journey through the art world after coming to America, resulting in her exploring her creativity with a new vigor and enthusiasm. Studying for Irina has been a life-long process, and will continue to be one. She loves to learn, loves to teach, focusing in the art and jewelry making process. As an accomplished artist, she continues to polish her skills by painting in her art studio and conducting art lessons to people of all ages. Her passion is painting with watercolors, her style is contemporary realism, and her subjects range from portraits and still-lives to beautiful landscapes and panoramic city views. Most of her paintings are in private collections maintained throughout the world. She is the member of East Bay Artist Guild and continues to show her paintings in local galleries and business offices.
